Trustee Calling on Josephians of US West
The Foundation enjoys excellent support from Josephians overseas. The efforts of Josephians of US West are typical of such support. Following the last visit to the Bay Area by Matthias Li, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Andrew Li paid a visit on Dec 28, 2011. Much to Andrew’s regret, he was unable to attend the JA Annual Dinner on Dec 10. However, the warm reception given him in Daly City that very evening more than made up for this disappointment.
Thanks to the excellent organization by Francis Lau, Andrew and family members arrived at the restaurant on time, despite the heavy fog they encountered at the Twin Peaks before making their way safely down to the venue. Andrew was pleased to be reunited with Francis Lau, Joseph Chan, Marco Liu, Andrew Ling, Joseph Yick and Sydney Yeung. There were also former teacher Mr. K. H. Chan and his wife, joining the reunion dinner.
The gathering acknowledged the visit by Andrew as a Trustee of Rev. Bro. Paul Sun Education Foundation, Chairman of the Josephian Association and Representative to SMC, SJACS. News was exchanged. The dinner, the wine, everything was great. It was a wonderful reunion.
As a matter of record, the following donations to the Rev. Bro. Paul Sun Education Foundation were handed to Andrew that evening:

Together with the amount given by Sydney Yeung earlier in the month when he visited HK, these will be duly recorded in the Register of Donations, and Roger Lam, the Trustee looking after Treasury matters, will be preparing some official receipts meanwhile.
Andrew informed everyone that the boys of ’72 will be holding their 40th Anniversary reunion activities in HK in early Dec 2012. Joseph Chan was the first to confirm his plan to travel to Hong Kong for this grand reunion. Marco Liu (’71) suggested the boys of ’71 and others should also be invited to join in the fun. This was, of course, gratefully accepted.
