Our Representative to the School’s Management Committee

On Thursday, 31st May 2012, Mr. Andrew Li (SJACS’72) attended his last SMC meeting as the Association’s representative to the School Management Board of St. Joseph’s A-C School. Andrew has served in this capacity for some 3 years, devoting much of his private time to the School’s affairs and campus activities. His most treasured personal objective was to bring about a higher standard of English for our young Josephians. During the meeting, the Supervisor, Mr. Irving Koo, who chaired the meeting, acknowledged the contributions of the alumni and Andrew’s efforts during his tenure, and a vote of thanks was given. The meeting decided to take a picture as a memento.

Taking up the cudgels from Andrew is another devoted alumnus, namely Professor Randy Chiu (SJACS’75). With his many years of experience in higher education, Randy is sure to bring with him invaluable knowledge and experience. Congratulations to Randy on his joining the School board, and we wish him every success in his work.
