About the Old Campus Foundation Stones

Having literally grown up on the old campus, many Josephians would naturally be interested in saving what we can. The foundation stone is one of such items of interest and nostalgic value. Thanks to the good efforts of SJACS Principal Paul Yeung, the foundation stone has now been saved. To throw more light on this subject, Chairman Andrew Li has recently received the following good news.

Let’s share this:

Dear Andrew,

Although we discussed in the SMC that the corner stone should be left in the old campus, subsequent discussion with the EDB has reversed the decision. The Senior School Development Officer informed us that we would have no right to the property inside the old campus once it is handed over. Therefore, with the permission of the Supervisor and the consensus of Fr. Diomo, the manager who said that the corner stone should be left in the old campus, we have taken off all the foundation stones. They will be moved to the new campus as soon as the locations for setting them up are determined.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Yeung
