Events and Activities - SJACS Leadership Training Program (11 Sep 2011)

SJACS Leadership Training Program (11 Sep 2011)

The alumni support the School in extra-curricular activities. This time it is a Leadership Training Program offered to students on campus. The kick-off event took place on Sunday, 11th September 2011.

On the day, the teacher overseeing the program was Mr. Wong Chi Yin (himself a Josephian of Class of ’90). The chief moderator is Wong King Kuen (SJACS’03), assisted by Bryan Chan (SJACS’07) and another male coach. We were also delighted to welcome 7 ladies who came along to be coaches.

The program started at 10 a.m. with a round of games. On hand to greet participants was Andrew Li, Chairman of the Josephian Association. Lunch was arranged by the Josephian Association in the comfort of the new air-conditioned campus canteen. In the afternoon, alumnus Russ Ko (organizing committee) joined the group until the program concluded at 5 p.m.

All in all, some 40 students spent a full day having fun and learning at the same time. According to Russ, the next event will be an over-night program over the Oct 8 weekend, promising lots of fun and game. This time, we are expecting the turnout to be doubled. How wonderful!
