This year’s SJACS annual scholarship award ceremony was held on 8 October 2010, once again in the same basketball court we are all familiar with.  Mr. Peter Yeung (Chairman, Josephian Association) and Mr. Ng Man Kin (Secretary) represented the Josephian Association to attend the ceremony as guests to present prizes to the award winners.  A list of the winners is shown below. Our congratulations to the award winners!

Fellow Josephian Edward Lai Kwok Yan (黎國仁) (Class of ‘69) was guest speaker on this occasion.  Edward is the General Manager of Fish Marketing Organization (魚類統營處) and Vegetable Marketing Organization (蔬菜統營處).  Despite reaching retirement age, because of his vast experience in the field, his term of service has been extended.  

In his speech, Edward recounted his days in SJACS and his fond memories of our late Rev. Brother Paul Sun.  How time flies!  He witnessed the opening of the existing campus 43 years ago and is going to witness the grand opening of the new campus scheduled on 19 March 2011.

After the ceremony, Principal Paul Yeung led the trio to tour around the new campus.  It had just been handed over to SJACS.  Workers were busy performing the finishing touches.  The new campus is much more spacious with impressive facilities.  According to Mr. Paul Yeung, the big move will happen during the Christmas break.  The second school term will commence at the new campus in January 2011.  As our school starts a new chapter, it is also the time for us to bid farewell to the old campus where we have all spent our adolescence.
