On July 5, the Board of the Josephian Association held its monthly meeting, as usual at the Yau Yat Chuen Owners' Club. On this very occasion, we had invited as our guests the out-going Principal of the Primary Section, and the in-coming new Principal, Ms. Kwok Wan, originally Vice Principal.

We gave Mr. Lau our farewell and well wishes in his new position as the new Principal of St. Francis Primary School, Tai Kok Tsui. Ms. Kwok is a familiar face, having taught in our primary school for some 30 years. It was no surprise that she immediately recognized her old students in Rino Lam ('90) and Stephen Sheung ('01).

The Josephian Association has been involved in the Primary School's affairs for many years; our Vice Chairman, Li Hon Keung, Daniel is currently on its SMC representing old boys. Among various other topics, we shared views on how the alumni could work more closely with the Primary School. For example, we can participate more in student activities, and the School can help publicize the good work being done by the Josephian Association in the Secondary Section to bring about improvements, thus attracting more parents to send their boys to study in the Secondary Section.
