Events and Activities - CLASS OF ’72 BBQ
The Class of ’72 prides itself as being close-knit and practitioners of the great St. Joseph family spirit. Regular gatherings are held, keeping everyone in touch.

Earlier, the Class of ’72 responded enthusiastically to the Josephian Association’s appeal for support for making a statue to commemorate Bro. Paul Sun. We are not about to make an exception after receiving the recent appeal for donations from the Rev. Bro. Paul Sun Education Foundation.

We are making every gathering an opportunity to collect donations for this good cause. As always, we treasure what we hold in common and our collective efforts. On the evening of 24th April 2010, a BBQ was held on the rooftop of Fred Wu’s home in North Point. Again, it was well attended. The gathering heard an update from their coordinator, Andrew Li. All those present gave generously. In support of the first project of the Foundation to contribute to the renovation of the new school building, it is the aim of the Class of ’72 to collect as much as we can - at least enough to name a classroom after ‘SJACS, Class of ’72.’

Same as the last BBQ at the same venue, Fred sponsored the food and Andrew the wine. It was a most enjoyable evening sharing news. It was especially memorable since this would be the last time taking advantage of this wonderful roof garden, as Fred is moving soon. Despite this, no doubt, we will find another venue to carry on this tradition.

We would like to see alumni of other years do hold similar gatherings and collect donations for the Foundation.
